Chainstay Removal

This product was purchased to remove existing chainstays. I was skeptical at first as most of the videos and pictures on the web show that this device is primarily used for removing T-posts. I myself was able to delete 10 posts in about 30-45 minutes. The pillars were fixed with concrete. Just had to dig two stubborn pillars. Most of the other posts came out relatively easily. I didn't pre-treat any of the posts with water as others on the internet have mentioned to loosen the dirt or concrete and was still able to remove the posts fairly easily. Bought the recommended chain with this jack. Would give this product 5 stars but the foundation wasn't always solid. I ended up placing a concrete block under the base for more support, leverage, and strength. I also used a piece of 1" x 1" steel tubing for the extended lever arm. I recommend that the manufacturer provide a 1" x 1" steel tube that can be inserted into an existing handle for added leverage. The device is compact and easy to transport, but still well made.
