Review on Hyundai Sonata Passenger Side Mirror (2006-2010) - Unpainted, Heated, Power Operated Replacement Mirror - HY1321149 by Shawn Quick

A few bucks saved, good for the body

I drove with a tape covered passenger side mirror for over a year because I didn't want to spend $250 on my mechanic to replace it. Then my son (the new driver) smashed the driver's side mirror while exiting the garage and as it was barely hanging and was very visibly damaged and I didn't want to get a ticket they had to be replaced. The mechanic wanted $500 to replace both. I watched a few videos on You Tube on how to replace them and thought it didn't look too difficult (maybe time consuming but not difficult) so I decided to give it a try (return n Prime if I failed, so $$ is not lost). I have a gold 2010 Hyundai Sonata. It was so easy. It took me 25 minutes (including 15 minutes to find the right size tool) to replace the mirror WALLPAPER. I didn't even have to remove the door panels (although I was prepared for that since the mechanic was charging so much for the 'work'). Removed the small corner panel, unscrewed 3 screws, removed the plastic fuse, replaced with a new mirror, connected the fuse, screwed in 3 screws, replaced the corner panel and new mirrors that work! Very easy!
