MORE WASTE Good for food

I have been feeding this to my chickens for several years and have been very happy with the quality and value of the product. But lately the amount of "powdered" waste has been very discouraging. Last winter I mixed this feed with other organic pellets and the chicks refused to eat the pellets once they tried Scratch & Peck granules so I started feeding them Scratch & Peck only. Their egg production increased along with the quality of the eggs. I was very pleased! But lately there has been a lot of food waste. Since I order 50# every 4-5 weeks, that's a lot of waste! I wrote to the company and they said the formula had been changed although with good ingredients it leaves A LOT of waste. The mill initially offered to send additional grain to make up for the losses, but never did. I can't find any other food that I like as much, but the value of the product has decreased with the increase in waste.
