Review on πŸ–€ Dorman 741-736 Power Window Regulator and Motor Assembly - Front Passenger Side for Honda Models - Black by Anthony Shields

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Exactly what I needed.

I have a Honda Civic Ex. 2 others My right passenger side window regulator was seizing its gear and rubbing causing my window not to go up all the way. That was excellent. It fits like a glove. I took on a project myself and you need to remove the inner door panel. It's not difficult, just unscrew all the screws you'll find around the edges, on the door handle, on the switch. Take your time removing it and making an effort to remove it from the panel as it has some tight fitting buttons on the inside. Then all you have to do is unscrew a couple of screws holding the motor in place and carefully lower the window, unscrew it from the slider and take out the old part. Do the reverse process and put everything back together. It took about 30 minutes to finish. Screwdriver (Philips)/socket wrench with extension. I forgot the size, it's probably 10mm like most screws on the car. Bring a towel and be careful not to scratch/break the window. Bottom line, working window. Ideal. I forgot to say before doing any of this I always check my products and the easiest way is to remove the door panel, remove the switch from the old controller and just plug it into the new one. Press the window key up or down, if it moves you're done.
