Review on 🔪 Ginsu Chikara Series 12 Piece Cutlery Set with Toffee Finish Block - Japanese Steel by Jessica Dubois

Good choice at a good price.

Purchased on recommendation of Consumer's Reports. I've always used German Henkles or Wüstof for their superb craftsmanship, durable materials, well-balanced knives, and sharp-edged consistency. I also tried a few Shun Kershaw knives. All cost hundreds of dollars and can be well worth it. But when I needed an extra outdoor cooking set I tried to be frugal and glad I did! Every kitchen should have at least one chef's knife, one utility knife, one paring knife, and one slicer; cut, cut and cut. This set has everything you need. The knives are aesthetically beautiful but unbalanced due to the heavy handles; When using the "Blade Grip" you need to use more force. They are razor sharp from the factory and will stay sharp for a long time with proper care. Always hand wash and dry after use (otherwise the blade may stain), NEVER wash in the dishwasher or the blade will become dull. Always replace the protective block of wood instead of throwing it in a box. This is a great buy for a very good set of knives at a very reasonable price and almost a steal when buying from Revain.
