I used this unit for a 210Ah lead acid battery in my van. It worked great to charge a lead acid battery for two months. I replaced the lead acid battery with LiFePO4. So I increased the charging voltage to 14.5V and connected the charging cable to the new battery. Then a big spike burned my battery terminal and the cable got very hot. I almost burned my fingers. But the green LED was still on on the device. A few minutes later I tried to connect the cable again. Then there was another big splash and I could smell burning chemicals. I opened the lid and found that two capacitors had blown. was activated and produced no output at all. In other words, DEAD. At the time of connection the battery voltage was 13.3V and the charging voltage was 14.5V. I have raised this issue with the Revain customer service team. After going through seven employees, they finally agreed that the device was defective. But their agreement on the matter was neither a refund nor a replacement. The purchase of this device is up to you, but I will not make the same mistake again.
