This inexpensive replacement air filter fits my 2006 Honda Civic EX just as well as an OEM product and costs a lot less. Engine performance feels just as good as with the new OEM air filter. The engine air filter is one of the easiest things to change under the hood and will instantly make a huge difference in performance over an old clogged filter. Replacing this filter is a simple vehicle service that the average consumer can and should do themselves. No tools required, it takes about 3-5 minutes to install in my Civic. The only thing that confuses me is that the box lists the filter life which is shorter than recommended by the Honda replacement (11,500 miles vs 15,000 miles if I remember correctly). However, actual filter life is highly dependent on environmental conditions, and even with this expedited replacement schedule, Amazon's homemade filters cost less than having the body shop do it for you.
