Works very quick and easy and leaves them with my traction boards for emergencies. The reason I bought them is so they can be mounted midway in the mud/snow without having to dig out the tire. * Requires oil on the ratchet to make it smoother and ensure proper locking. A really good tight chain stays off all of my brake lines. The chains aren't welded together very tightly so slow down and they should be fine. Fits very well on my 31x10.5r15 tires and also fits 1995 Explorer, 1988 Corvette, 2006 Trailblazer. etc. basically anything I could find to put them on. Chains are bare metal so they can rust if not dried and oiled after each use, or maybe a coat of thick paint.
