Review on πŸ–§ NETGEAR AC1200 Wi-Fi USB 3.0 Adapter: Dual Band Wireless Internet Stick for Desktop PC (A6210-100PAS) by Kevin Mariappan

Revainrating 3 out of 5

In the beginning they worked great and I was very satisfied.

Since I can't get any answers without jumping through hoops, this is my only option. I bought 2 AC1200 from Revain and 1 AC600 from Walmart less than a year ago. In the beginning they worked great and I was very satisfied. However, after 8-10 months they ALL failed. You just died! I tried contacting tech at Netgear and found it a nightmare otherwise I could have been billed $70 for a support call. I have relied on Cisco (now Linksys) for many years and have been very satisfied but after seeing the amount of feedback on these products, I decided to give them a try. gross mistake. Netgear made it so hard unless it happens within 90 days of purchase. So if they are 4 months old, you screwed up. At this point I don't feel like I can trust any Netgear product. I don't usually get worked up about a product, but it's not a very good product and the customer support sucks.

Pros
  • High power antennas for improved performance. Compatible with USB 2.0 and the latest 11ac WiFi devices and backward compatible with 802.11 a/b/g/n devices.
Cons
  • High Price
