Noise reduction not as claimed and very uncomfortable
I bought these because of their 37 Db sound reduction claim. The box itself claims 34 Db reduction. Based on my experience with the highly superior 3m Peltor X-5's, claiming 31Db reduction, these are actually about 26 Db. reduction. Additionally, they are too tight, apparently non-adjustable, and the the ear muff padding is quite thin. They are very uncomfortable to wear. I would definitely stick with the 3M peltor X-5s, which are far more comfortable and reduce sound much better. I should have returned these, but did not. I'm not sure why.
