excellent lid. I used to just use the cups and lids that were sold together when I needed a disposable option. But the lids are usually not very good. But THESE COVERS ARE GREAT! They are spacious and very safe. You don't have to subtract anything, the hole is already made. It should probably be noted that if you prefer that option, there is no way to close the hole. I don't need to close the hole so they work great!
