Very easy to fold. I actually used it as packaging for my new wooden handle wheelbarrow. This makes it feel rough enough to keep the handle from slipping out of your hands. This is particularly important when moving a load on a wheelbarrow down a slope. You don't have to grip the wheelbarrow handles so tightly that it becomes tiring. And dirt won't stick to taped handles with this material. At the moment it works very well on the wheelbarrow handles, no sticky slime leaks out at the edges of the overlap. Also holds well to wooden handles. I rubbed the grips with rubbing alcohol and lightly sanded the grips with damp 600 grit sandpaper before applying the tape to a 1/8" spiral overlap. Soon I will use it on real stairs. easily with normal sharp scissors.
