Easy to clean, great replacement for oiled filters
Agree with other reviews. It fits perfectly in APR's carbon fiber intake box for the MK6 GTI. After cleaning it once I went and got myself an extra hydrophobic filter sock as there were all sorts of bugs, leaves, lint and other stuff in its folds. They were very difficult to get out. Much easier to clean than regular oiled filters, they dried quickly and were back in the car the same day.
