Worked great to replace the old disposable Neuspeed P-Flo intake air filter on my MK6 Volkswagen GTI. The best part is that it can be washed and reused! It also looks great. I love AEM. 10/10

A quality dry-washable filter at an affordable price can be hard to find. This 3-inch filter from AEM is just the thing. Excellent flow, large filter area and high-quality materials - all parameters are tested.

Great alternative DRY air filters to replace the oiled air filter that comes with many aftermarket air intakes. If you have an APR carbon fiber air intake on a MK7 VW Golf R/GTI or 8V Audi A3/S3, this filter will fit like a champ.

This is not original AEM. Other material louder than the old AEM can clearly say that it is much cheaper than the old model. I returned it when I found the original AEM. K&N bought AEM and tried to sell things like AEM.

I've always liked the sound of a cold air intake. I also like that the filters are washable, but I've always hated the lubricating process. This filter solves this problem for me. Also the construction is fantastic with no dangling metal wires, properly sealed and a good bracket to ensure proper installation. Huge win in my book

Agree with other reviews. It fits perfectly in APR's carbon fiber intake box for the MK6 GTI. After cleaning it once I went and got myself an extra hydrophobic filter sock as there were all sorts of bugs, leaves, lint and other stuff in its folds. They were very difficult to get out. Much easier to clean than regular oiled filters, they dried quickly and were back in the car the same day.

First of all, the tube size corresponds to the outside size of the tube. I'm used to plumbing so this confused me a bit. I was expecting a little more opening. I do it with elbow grease and a little Sil-Gylde for walking. It really wakes up the car (Monte Carlo 2005 ls). There is an equation to determine how many square inches of filter media your engine needs based on various factors.
