So, for the New Year 2018 we received our first bidet. It was a Brondell E600. Just to prepare. I'm 6'3" and about 270 pounds and my wife is 5'8" and about 160 pounds. With one exception, we really liked everything about this bidet. It has a water tank with a heater and the warm water runs out in about 15-20 seconds, although pretty much everything I've read says it will take 40-60 seconds. Now washing really only takes about 10-15 seconds to get the job done BUT. I prefer it to take a little longer just to make sure everything is nice and clean in the old day so we run out of hot water. most of the time. Because of this we decided to move this seat to our child's bathroom and order another one for me and my wife. The woman said the Brondell E600 didn't seem to hit the right spot with her front wash either and she had to move around a bit to get it done, but that wasn't a deal breaker for her because she loved everything else about it. . We started looking again and decided on the Biobidet BB-2000. Biobidet BB-2000 - This seat has many features but we found the quality of this seat was not as good as the Brondell. We also noticed that the seat didn't stay very warm. It seemed to be around room temperature the whole time, after sitting down for about 30 seconds you could feel it starting to warm up. It seemed to be in economy mode all the time whether it was set to low or high. It seemed to have endless hot water no matter how long you run the wash cycle. I ended up contacting someone at bidetking.com and asked about heated seats and they told me they had it in their office and it was the same. We decided the cost was too much to just pay so we sent it back and ordered a Brondell Swash 1200. The Brondell Swash 1200 is awaiting delivery so we can't say yet but we're sure that we will like it. Summary: After owning Brondell, Biobidet and Alpha JX, we decided that Brondell brand is our favorite. It just seems like the quality is better. The seat is always nice and warm, even on low to medium settings. With the Biobidet and Alpha, we noticed that the seat wanted to go up when you got up. This did not happen on Brondel. It looks like it's due to the high stress (I don't think that's a real word) of the Brondell seat. The Biobidet lid seemed very thin and flimsy. Alpha is better in this regard. Alpha seemed to fix the worst of everything we tried. This is a significant investment (worth it in our opinion) and you should be completely satisfied as you will be using it on a daily basis. Based on our experience, we now truly believe that the amount of toilet paper we save on a seat will pay for itself in 2 years or less. Of course there is quite a bit of personal preference when it comes to an item like a bidet, but we think the Brondell brand is of significantly better quality than anything else we've tried. I can also say that I used to go to Japan quite often and the Toto brand is almost exclusively used there, so I tried them too and the Brondell brand seems to be just as good as Toto and Brondell seems to have more features for less money have as Toto. My wife said that both Biobidet and Alpha washed their fronts better, but I think that's because they both have 2 separate sticks (one for the back and one for the front) which makes washing women's clothes easier. Sharing rather than just having one stick for both, like the Brondell E600 we had first. The new Brondell Swash 1200 we ordered has 2 bars so we expect it to wash front lady parts as well as Biobidet and Alpha. Whichever one you choose, if you've never owned a bidet you'll find it's a game changer and you'll wonder how you lived so long and never owned one. We will never be without again. It works much easier and better than toilet paper and/or tissues. Better for your sewer or septic tank and the environment. Brondel washes so well that even after you wash it with toilet paper, you can wipe it down and find that the paper is completely clean! Aside from using a piece of toilet paper to dry yourself, you don't need to dry yourself at all. This reminds me that the drying function is practically useless on all of them, so don't let that be the deciding factor in your rating of any of them. Oh, and my wife loves the Brondell's blue night light feature. I hope this will help anyone who is shopping to help you make a decision and get the most bang for your buck.
