Wear Out Immediately

These items wear out in less than 10 miles of riding. I was amazed, as was the bike shop that replaced my brake lines. I replaced them with a $15 set of pads and it was worth it to have something that actually works the way it's supposed to. Lesson learned: Don't skimp on the things that keep you from getting stuck in traffic. Pay a few dollars more. Also, the way they are assembled requires balancing to remove or install the pads since the screw threads are attached to the pads. The ones I have now come with a bolt that screws into the body so you can slide the pad behind the caliper and screw in without removing the wheel, just enough to push the pad in. Seriously, just get the best set, even if the bike is never used you still want to be able to stop.
