Part broke while driving at 55mph and with family

This part was purchased in April, installed in August and broke tonight while driving at 55mph with my family in the car . I believe they guarantee their parts for a year, but that seems like an awfully big risk as the product has already put my family and I at risk once. I will take some photos of the damaged part. I will publish them soon.
