I love this set. I read that a similar Chemical Guys set also broke and fell apart after a single use. I used all 4 pads to touch up the paint and remove swirl marks on a 7 year old black truck. If you're new to things like me, you might need a good "swirl search light" as well. I recommend Rupes LL150. The vortices were visible to the naked eye when the truck was clean and in the sun. This set along with Adam's Correcting/Heavy Correcting/ and Finishing helped me get them all. However, this work also exposed thousands of micro-scratches - presumably from previous owners who took the truck to the car wash (uh-huh). Fortunately, these micro-scratches are only visible under the Rupes lamp. The whole wash/clay/polish/wax job took about 10 hours and I am very happy with the results. The pads also held up very well. I left them for about a week - before cleaning, simply because I didn't have a brush. Save money on a pad cleaning brush. I looked at the $14 versions here but ended up spending about $3 on a similar brush from a major hardware store. With a cheap brush, a bucket of warm water, and Chemical Guys cleaner, each pad looked almost brand new.
