Review on 🍺 Brewer's Edge Mash & Boil with Pump - 7.5 Gallon All Grain Home Brewing System by Kendra Smith

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Pump mashing and boiling Best value for money!

Brewers Edge Mash and Boil with pump makes coffee brewing a breeze! I have been brewing all grains with a progressive gravity system for 12 years. Periodic mash tun, hockey stick heaters, modified kegs, etc. I've brewed some great beers with this bulky manual system. Mash and boil with pomp seemed like the best option available. The only thing I could complain about is the technically unreliable temperature control. Setting 153 degrees. F gives a control band of 151-157 +/- degrees or two. That sounds worse than it really is. In the real world of brewing, good control is enough. Especially when you consider the price. One free tip (it's worth what you pay for!): if you occasionally rinse in a cooler vat and use this or any other kettle to mash/brew the system, open the grinder slightly. What worked perfectly in my old vat has too many fine particles to pump into the fermenter. I made the offending bowl before brewing my first brew, but I'm brewing in an uninsulated, unheated garage in Ohio in November. , So. Overall, I have to give Mash and Boil with Pump 4 stars out of 5. It would be five if the temperature controls were a little tighter.
