Type of review

First batch of beers and love the ease of use and easy clean up. No propane to deal with. For a change, I could brew at home. The temperature sensor is accurate. The pump works fine. You have to use the hop basket or you'll get burned below. We'll see how long the pump lasts. It becomes difficult to clean when you get hops in the pump. Otherwise, I highly recommend this fertilizer. The price is good up to 300r.

Great value for money

Doesn't clean as badly as some reviews suggest. I've made 2 brews in it and both have worked well. If you have problems with constipation I would suggest using a sack or hop spider as well, but I've had no problems with pale ale or poop, whole grain. It is not listed but the product comes with a small rubber hose, sprinkler, diffuser and cap. My only complaint is that the bubbler sleeve is too close to the rim, making it difficult to screw in and not sealing properly. So if you turn the…

Great little electrics AG

I was tired of constantly lugging my mash cooler (running propane) in and out of the basement and even more tired of being dependent on the weather on brew day. This is a great solution for those days when I just want to brew good beer indoors. The system is efficient and foolproof. She has trouble losing heat, especially during mashing. To fix this I wrapped it in Reflectix insulation and it changed the world. Two bottles of beer and I am very happy with the quality of the beer. However, I…

Great machine great customer service

After doing some research I decided on this machine based on the price and reviews. After welding a batch I really liked it, it's pretty darn easy to use. The pump works great with my counterflow wort chiller. The only thing I'm perfectly happy with is that the temperature often deviates by a few degrees but is constant, so it's easy to get the right temperature if you have a separate thermometer. . This is the only downside, but given the price, it's understandable. Customer service is also…

Nice brew set

I have made 2 batches of extract so far and I think everything is easier. My temperatures are of course more constant. I've used my stove before and it hurt. After reading the instructions I went and bought some milk crate shaped file holders. You know those plastic things that keep the device off the ground in case I have to reach down to press the reset button, which I had to do on the second batch. It was my fault, I burned some of the extract on the bottom so the device popped out dry. stir

Feel so lucky to have this!

While it may sound a bit silly I feel so fortunate to own one of these excellent devices and to be able to buy from such a wonderful and friendly seller. I had a few questions about the pump function (new brewer here) and the customer service is fantastic. I watched a YouTube video to explain the process, but setting up and running Mash&Boil was a lot easier and clearer than I thought. I bought (separately) a Turbo 500 distillation column and an alternative stainless steel top. (with opening)…

Pump mashing and boiling Best value for money!

Brewers Edge Mash and Boil with pump makes coffee brewing a breeze! I have been brewing all grains with a progressive gravity system for 12 years. Periodic mash tun, hockey stick heaters, modified kegs, etc. I've brewed some great beers with this bulky manual system. Mash and boil with pomp seemed like the best option available. The only thing I could complain about is the technically unreliable temperature control. Setting 153 degrees. F gives a control band of 151-157 +/- degrees or two. That

Not that bad. on Homebrew Starter Kits

I've brewed a few batches with this machine and am generally very happy with it. I'll start with a bad thing I encountered: the two spot welds attaching the recirculation tube to the top of the kettle came loose before I had finished my second brew session. That's why I'm giving it four stars instead of five. I didn't offend, and a good weld shouldn't be less durable than the metal that joins it. It was just a bad weld and now I have to fix it. Nothing should fall off the second time you use…
