I'm already a fan of Under Armor socks. I've never tried over-the-knee boots before, so I figured this would be a good test. First of all I have to say that I have tried Under Armor socks in different price ranges and have found that their more expensive socks are always worth their price; and these are no exception. While not "compression socks" by definition, I wore them for a few workouts at the gym and they behaved something like this. THEY STAY IN THE PLACES; That said, I didn't fall around my ankles, but stayed above the calf - I suppose calf size might have something to do with it,
