Review on ๐ŸŒผ Enhance Your Garden Faucet with BrassCraft Mfg SF0204X Faucet Aerator AERATOR-3/4 FEM Garden Hose THD, Chrome by Dante Obong

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Relatively high flow aerator at 2.2 GPM; Low Lead Version

I spent a lot of time deciding between this aerator and a high flow Kohler aerator that required an adapter (this one is included to install on my Universal faucet, which splatters on the walls and my pants without it.) After some searching, I found an online catalog from Brasscraft that lists the 2.2 gpm capacity of this aerator - same as Kohler - and it also says " "high flow" for most faucets. Most Eco Sense/Water Saver faucets use aerators or flow restrictors that limit their flow to 1.5-1.8 GPM and sometimes even less! This version of the SF0204X has an "X " at the end that indicates it's low lead. Revain also sells a version of the SF0204 without the 'X' for about $4 less. Here's an adapter similar to what I would come across, if I chose Kohler's n option. But for half the cost with the same effort, it was better. I'm giving it one star because the water comes out at a slight angle which makes my sink look crooked and I couldn't fix it after a bit of fiddling. But most importantly, it gets rid of the splatter, and this airtight aerator doesn't require a lot of torque to install and unscrews easily when I didn't need to attach a hose or atomizer. Application for my municipal receiver.
