Perfect for 1997 Buick Park Ave. It wasn't as smooth as the old one (which was still tight but the trunk was snapped) but that might just be because it's new and a little tighter. The worst part of the job was drilling and knocking out the rivets from the original ball joint. The service manual states that the ball joints are not serviceable, they are to replace the control arm, which is no longer available in aluminum for the 1997 model year. A YouTube video convinced me that the ball joint can be easily replaced. It went well, but drilling and driving rivets was painful.
