I have had several different cappuccino machines that broke after a year. This one works very well and I paid a few extra bucks for product insurance. After trying the espresso, I found it almost as thick as $700 machines. This is excellent value for money. I love the auto wrap feature that wraps the coffee for you. The brewing process is entirely manual: the machine heats the water in the tank and drips into the cup until you turn it off. You have to count to 20 for an optimal drop. The milk frother works well but needs to be cleaned after each use. This means that making cappuccino adds about 15 minutes to your day every day. Of course, the espresso is ready in less than 5 minutes. I have to say though that it tastes a lot better than what we get at our local coffee shop and costs a lot less. So you break out at about 40 cups. Being handmade in nature and requiring cleaning to maintain quality and durability, it's a compromise between cost and convenience without sacrificing the quality of what you'll get with the ride and queue at the local shop. I use it for espresso during the week and cappuccino at the weekend. I am happy with this purchase. **Update** About a year later. Works great so far with no leaks. It stopped working a couple of times and I thought maybe I should use the insurance I got with it. I cleaned it thoroughly and it worked again. We've used it at least 2 times a day every day for the last year and it's held up great. This is probably the best value we have received from any of our lights.
