Availability The device doesn't remove the top for me like some people have said, but it does cut off the top completely so it's easier to remove with a knife and not get bits of shell everywhere. I HATE having a piece of clam in my mouth (that gritty feeling makes my stomach turn), so it helps a lot. The cups are white only, porcelain-like (but not that thin), no logo or anything (which suits me). , I actually prefer without the logo). They hold up in the dishwasher. I love that there are four of these and they came in a nice padded box. (Although, as other reviewers have pointed out, the padded box came in a very thin outer box with no protection, so it was crumpled in one corner, making it less attractive as a gift.) Small spoons are perfect.
