Review on Philips Kitchen HR2505 26 Multichopper by Brian Piecuch

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I bought this because I hate dicing carrots like Mirapois as much as I do.

I bought this device because I hate dicing carrots for Mirapoix for example and I also thought that maybe I could replace my small food processor with it. Cutting carrots takes a lot of time, I would avoid it if possible. So I tried carrots, onions and celery and it worked as described. The pieces are not the same size, but I don't care. I'm not looking for perfection, I'm looking for convenience, less prep time. The cleanliness is not bad, I washed it by hand. Be careful with the blade. It would take me longer to cut carrots than to peel them. But I realized that I can't replace my little food processor with it because the motor is on top, you can't drizzle with oil during processing if the recipe calls for it. But I still give 5 stars. Oh, I've also tried hand dicing tools from another manufacturer. They are not easy to use for carrots and potatoes, I have to slice them thinly so they can be cut through.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Very expensive
