Description of Philips Kitchen HR2505 26 Multichopper

Chopping onions is an unpleasant experience, so Philips developed ChopDrop technology to enable you to chop like a chef! The included basket holds in the ingredients, while 3 blades do your chopping. Dry and perfectly-sized pieces fall into the bowl, ready for their next step in your meal. Perfect for vegetables, cheese nuts and more. The included high-speed blade allows you finely chop ingredients such as meat, nuts, herbs, chocolate and more. Finely grind meat for meatballs and tacos, or prepare homemade pesto, hummus and salad dressing. To use simply press down on the top of the MultiChopper! No extra buttons, settings or switches. Chopping like a chef with a single touch. The large ChopDrop basket is designed to fit a whole onion. Just peel and cut in half, and let the MultiChopper do the rest for you. No more tears!. The 1.1 L bowl allows you to prepare all the necessary ingredients for your meal.

Loved it but broke after 2 years

This unit was amazing for 2 years until it broke. It was very helpful when I needed to chop large amounts of onions or veggies for a soup. . It had a little issue with carrots and celery but was great with onions which was the main reason I bought it. You just have to remember to put the cap BEFORE the motor (sometimes I forgot and thought it wouldn't work anymore, but it was just that I forgot the cap. Eventually the motor actually stopped working. By the way Repurchase even though it broke…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • For old

I bought this device because I hate dicing carrots for Mirapoix for example and I also thought that maybe I could replace my small food processor with it. Cutting carrots takes a lot of time, I would avoid it if possible. So I tried carrots, onions and celery and it worked as described. The pieces are not the same size, but I don't care. I'm not looking for perfection, I'm looking for convenience, less prep time. The cleanliness is not bad, I washed it by hand. Be careful with the blade. It…

Pros
  • Handsfree

  • Very expensive

Works great for the money!

I lost all my lower molars a few years ago due to various health reasons. Except for the last 2, thank god. Since then, it's been very difficult to chew and my diet has changed, and I ended up in the hospital in the ambulance over Labor Day weekend due to salt deficiency. I could only eat boring Pure Bars with very little "real food". I've seen this handy little dandy billed even on my Medicare disability income (very little to account for additional services that may or may not be needed). It…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
