I lost all my lower molars a few years ago due to various health reasons. Except for the last 2, thank god. Since then, it's been very difficult to chew and my diet has changed, and I ended up in the hospital in the ambulance over Labor Day weekend due to salt deficiency. I could only eat boring Pure Bars with very little "real food". I've seen this handy little dandy billed even on my Medicare disability income (very little to account for additional services that may or may not be needed). It worked great. Tried it on a celery chicken salad last night and I could really chew and for the first time in 2 years I can enjoy good, healthy food! My diet is extremely limited, but it does the job well. is excellent for able bodied people, can be used to grind a variety of items as detailed for larger recipes. I cook for a week and just put a portion in the basket, click and voila! The only downside I would say is if you need to use more than one dish you may need a slightly larger processor as this basket has enough space for a pre-cooked salad or dish but not enough for a family. It will probably even work for 2 if you can eat other things with the salad and it's not your only meal. Photos try to show the actual size of the basket. I have very big hands for a woman (big old working German hands, my mother said I got them from both my German parents). My palm is just under 3 1/2 inches in diameter and my middle finger to wrist is 10 inches (all played sports, 10 years of heavy construction, truck driver, this kid has no grades, heavy machinery to rake ash, probably together with $$ n beneis) Clean up was a breeze. It is not difficult to assemble and use. A really great buy for the price! You are happy, but above all you are back on the path to a healthier lifestyle, the customer! For your health!
