I think most people who buy these have a pretty good idea of what they're getting. It is very convenient to have a short circular knitting needle. I used mine for the bottom of the sweater sleeves and then enlarged into a longer circle for the upper sleeves. The bamboo feels comfortable in the hand and the stitching doesn't accidentally slip off (which can easily happen to me with smooth metal needles). My arms feel a little cramped when knitting, but that's not too bad and I should avoid DPNs and ladder patterns in my projects. The only reason for 4 stars is that the cable material is quite hard. I prefer the more flexible Signature Needles cables (but they don't make them as short).
