Like many here, my dog chewed on the cord of the Shark vacuum. It was relatively easy to replace - all you need is a screwdriver to open the vacuum, some wire strippers (or some way to strip wires), and a way to connect new wires to existing wires. They're color coded so it's pretty easy and I just used a bunch of tape to connect the wires. 5/5 would recommend trying this out even if you're not tech savvy rather than buying a new vacuum. Saved me a few hundred $$
