Review on Conquer the Outdoors with ALTRA ALM1963P Wahweap Running Shoes by Dave Seawell

I bought them because they were selling at the regular (much more expensive) price and because I liked them. I also bought these because they are Altra and now I ONLY wear wide toe shoes. I read the reviews on these shoes and while they weren't great I decided to take a chance since they were on sale. These shoes are smaller than I had hoped. They're damn hard to put on because they're hemp shoes. So it doesn't stretch at all when you try to put it on. I almost tear my toes off trying to wrap them around my heel. After putting them on everything is fine with them except there are NO pads in the shoes at all. My other complaint is that the fabric on these shoes creases a lot and is beginning to look frayed. They literally look like they've been balled up and hidden under a pile of trash. And I haven't found a way to iron out the creases in the fabric. So overall I'm not happy with it. I'm just glad I didn't pay the regular retail price for it. I don't recommend them and I don't even think about walking in them!
