    Type of review

I'm a woman with very wide feet and I usually wear women's 10s, but I constantly have trouble finding shoes that are wide enough for my foot. I ordered the men's version of this shoe because I liked the green color better than the women's version. I was an 8 1/2 at first and was shocked that the width seemed reasonable but felt the shoe was too short. I almost kept them, but then went back to a size 9. The length 9 is perfect. Factory-soled heels in both sizes felt oddly high and odd, but not…

    Pros
    • Great quality and great fit!
    Cons
    • Really too small and not enough pillows. My legs hurt a lot after a few days.

    Phenomenal zero-drop casual shoes

smooth and light show. Fits as expected; I wear 9.5 in most Altra shoes, 9.5 in Merrell Trail Glove 3 and 4, and 9.5 is perfect for these. The durable outsole and waterproof canvas-backed coating on the heel and toe allowed me to wear them as commuters in the cold/wet Northeast winter. The outsole can feel a little stiff for the first week of wear depending on the shoe you choose. If this happens, try them on a day off for a week or two and see if you get used to it. Plenty of lateral toe room…

    Pros
    • Easy to crack and convenient
    Cons
    • I bought a couple of these in the summer of 2020. They didn't last until the fall. The heel and toe are separated from the sole.

    Convenient, poor quality control

Update: I sent back the first pair and got a replacement but they are no better. The 2nd and 3rd photos are for the second couple while the first photo is for the first couple. I will also be returning this pair and trying to order direct from Altra. 2, after about 3 or 4 miles of walking, the sole started to separate from the canvas. I am very disappointed that these shoes are not as well made as I expected. I still love my Superior 4 but I will probably return it.

    Pros
    • Great fit and feel with elastic laces that are easy to slip on and off. I can't imagine torturing my feet with normal shoe shaped shoes.
    Cons
    • These shoes have no lining or support.

Very disappointing - my new rating

I am very disappointed in this product. Made in China, the quality of the cut and tailoring is very poor, the size does not fit. I had to alter them once to get the right size. I am size 45 or 10.5 UK. I had to order US 12 which is UK 11 and they are still tight. Very very disappointing - wouldn't attempt to walk the Apalachian Trail in them.

    Pros
    • I have hot and wide feet. These shoes are a dream. I bought the second color after my first pair!!
    Cons
    • Not suitable for activities such as climbing or hiking

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    The perfect shoe for me.

I'm sorry they don't make these anymore. Although they wear out too quickly, these are the most comfortable shoes I've found. I don't know much about runner terms, but I love the Wahweaps' minimalist yet durable outsole, zero drop, wide toe box, and the complements I get from people who care about style aren't what I like. used to receiving!

    Pros
    • I've been running in the Altra for many years now and it's a great shoe that's easy to carry around.
    Cons
    • Poor traction on wet or slippery surfaces

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good, but not outstanding in my opinion.

After having to return several Altras due to poor fit, I found them to fit perfectly. However, they developed a strange "bump" over the heel due to which blisters appeared. I returned them and bought another pair and the price went up $30. Revain speaks of "dynamic" pricing. This customer says unreliable. It's like going to Vegas. spin the wheel. maybe you pay. maybe you pay less. Perhaps. really disappointed.

    Pros
    • Good boot. Not very durable, but that's ok
    Cons
    • This shoe is not like the others I have. Difficult to meet and not the quality of others I have

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great shoes - my new review

They are really great for trail running/hiking or city running. These are also my favorite summer shoes. Easy to wash, convenient. I would not recommend running on asphalt.

    Pros
    • Interesting and comfortable shoes! Slightly large (1/2 size).
    Cons
    • Behind the ball of the foot was an awkward protrusion.

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

    OK with some problems

Great minimalist shoe. Pretty. Two complaints: Long rides make the heel uncomfortable and lack durability. While I have an inner liner that hasn't caused me any problems, I've only had them for a few months. good boot.

    Pros
    • Roomy toe box accommodates a variety of foot sizes and shapes.
    Cons
    • May not be suitable for those with high arches.

    Revainrating 1 out of 5

The Altra designers have some serious gaps.

Altra seems like a good company, they make shoes with an anatomical toe box and zero sag. Large. But this is the second pair of shoes I've bought from them and had to return because the sole would NOT flex. Hey guys, nobody cares if your shoes fit you as long as you're walking on a wooden board.

    Pros
    • Comfortable and stylish
    Cons
    • May not last long with regular use

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

My review is a bit long.

It is in order. I love the look and would wear them casually but not as sneakers. They're a little smaller than the Altras I'm used to. Although I think they look and feel great every day. Durability to be confirmed.

    Pros
    • Impact and shock absorption to reduce fatigue and prevent injury
    Cons
    • May not be strong enough for rough terrain

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

    Stylish but casual shoes.

Great style and fit so will keep them. However, due to their fragility and questionable durability, I would not wear them on a via ferrata unless the approach is class 2 or lower. rises. However, this shoe is best suited for belaying on the street or as a stylish casual sneaker. I would recommend these, but I don't expect them to outlive or outperform a well-built approach shoe.

    Pros
    • Stylish and modern design
    Cons
    • May not provide adequate support for individuals with flat feet or overpronation

    Revainrating 1 out of 5

    Swing and miss! HOORAY!

I wear Altra for orthopedic purposes. This model has been discontinued and it is understandable why it was never in high demand. The sole is smaller than a shoe at the instep, causing your foot to roll into pronation! Terrible for your legs, knees and especially your thighs! Oh! Got it back in less than 2 hours.

    Pros
    • Reduce the risk of injury and performance problems
    Cons
    • May not be suitable for runners who prefer minimalist shoes.

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

    Too small in my opinion.

Good shoes, great construction. Although they are definitely small. I currently own two other pairs of Altras (Lone Peak 4, Escalante 2) and two other pairs. They usually have a wide toe box that fits my feet well, but this pair is a bit short and narrow. I ordered 12.5 instead.

    Pros
    • This takes some getting used to when changing from normal hiking boots.
    Cons
    • The shoes fit, I don't use them as sports shoes... I use them as casual shoes. Altra did not disappoint me.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    Suitable for everyday use

Very fast delivery, exact color and size. The item is heavier than other Altra running shoes I own. Pillow way it is firmer. It is more suitable for everyday use than for hard and fast workouts.

    Pros
    • We offer excellent value for money
    Cons
    • It can be difficult to adapt to the shape of the foot.

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

Don't expect performance, but they look good.

I personally bought this shoe for looks and everyday use. I love Altra sneakers, but these aren't sneakers. Although I haven't had them that long, they seem to be a solid construction.

    Pros
    • No break-in period, practically immediately out of the box
    Cons
    • May not be suitable for people with foot deformities

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very happy with this unique shoe

Bought as casual shoes for a new relaxed office dress code. These were my first Altra shoes and the toe box is really roomy and comfortable. I love that they are constructed with no added/extra material so the shoe packs down easily (i.e. packs very small). Combined with a style that works in a variety of conditions, this is a great travel shoe. Thin soles with minimal cushioning so may not be suitable for heavy walking/hiking. However, I am very happy with my purchase.

    Pros
    • I love how it trains my foot to almost land when running. Very durable material and very light.
    Cons
    • Limited color options

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

Comfortable, minimalist shoes with moderate cushioning

Comfortable from day one (after running 10km in it), unlike other Altra shoes, the foot height in this shoe is moderate so you're less "lifted" and therefore more stable and less likely to dip on rough terrain ankles twist and can walk more. minimalist. With the right offer (like mine) this is the real deal. Only after 1 year, so I can give a long-term review.

    Pros
    • Extremely comfortable and supportive
    Cons
    • Not waterproof or waterproof

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    Convenience out of the box

I wanted to like her, but I ended up liking her. The canvas is breathable and lightweight, and the sole is lightweight with enough cushioning for walking. Too bad they were discontinued.

    Pros
    • Flexible soles facilitate natural movement
    Cons
    • May have a break-in period that can cause discomfort

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very good shoes. the best in my rating

I've been using Altra running shoes for a number of years. I love the wide tip and zero drop design. I decided to try running shoes for running outdoors. I was not disappointed. They are different from the support I get in running shoes and it took me a little time to adjust but now I'm happy with them.

    Pros
    • Made from high quality materials for a longer lifespan
    Cons
    • May not be suitable for those with a split leg.
