Great footwear for foot health and outfits for day and night.

I bought these shoes for my dad because he needs a wider toe box for foot health and he loves them. They look classy and quite classy for this type of shoe. He usually wears them as casual shoes when going to a reasonably pleasant event and/or going out. The bottom of the shoe is very flexible, which is very important for foot health. Overall a great shoe and is holding up well.

Pros
  • Suitable for the whole season
Cons
  • May not be suitable for people with bones

I feel great! in my rating

I've been wearing Altra running shoes for a while. I was looking for something to wear casually and this fits perfectly. The price was lower than I expected compared to their running shoes.

Pros
  • Ideal for running and hiking outdoors
Cons
  • Limited availability in sizes and styles

Good for one, bad for the other.

Nice, comfortable summer shoes. Focused on the approach to the shoe, with particular attention to the ball of the foot and protection when walking uphill. Typical Altra sizing, runs small/correct, depends on how much room you want in the toe box (12 gives me a standard size similar to Saucony 12, as opposed to the Lone Peak sizing where 12 is actually 11.5). Don't expect running shoes. . This is an approach shoe with a hard, grippy sole. I wouldn't choose them for a continuous hike, but they're

Pros
  • Good stability and arch support
Cons
  • May not be suitable for high-intensity workouts

Good looking sturdy shoes

Great looking shoes. Hard first 50 miles that I didn't mind. Now it's very convenient. Feel more durable than other Altra shoes I own. I will most likely buy again

Pros
  • Great shoe, great quality, just didn't fit and didn't have time to wait for another batch.
Cons
  • The toe was not as wide as on other models.

Looks great, not as soft as I would like

I like the looks. I usually order a 4E due to my wide feet, but I took a chance based on reviews that suggest the shoe fits a wide foot. you work for me I usually run trails in thick, comfortable running shoes, so they immediately feel a bit heavy. Time will tell after a few more test runs. At the moment they are suitable for everyday use.

Pros
  • Stylish enough to wear with casual wear
Cons
  • May be too heavy for some runners

Hard and tight in my head

I was hoping that the Wahweap would make a good minimalist/technical hiking shoe. I tried them on and decided to return them. The length was a good fit. I run a size 11 in other Altra shoes and the Wahweap delivers a comparable longitudinal fit. They are narrower than I expected but may be suitable for technical shoes; After all, you don't want your foot twisting/rolling in your shoes on a steep slope. The main reason I returned them was that the soles were very hard; When new, they have almost

Pros
  • Improve overall foot health and comfort
Cons
  • May not be suitable for people with hammer toes

Nice lifestyle shoes. But do your research

I've been wearing these shoes for over a week now and have been wearing them for at least 5 days in a row. Here are some notes and reviews: 1. I did not purchase these shoes from Revain2. I paid €57 including shipping. It's a reasonable price.3. I bought khaki shoes4. I'm a real 11 and bought shoes at 11.5. Shoes run small, I could take 1/2 size bigger. This is a constant problem with the Altra.6 brand. The shoes feel tighter at the toes. Definitely less toe room than most other Altras. It…

Pros
  • Protect your feet from stones and sharp objects
Cons
  • May not provide enough cushioning for long-distance runs.

Strange shoes, tight-fitting, mostly comfortable, very stiff

The shoes are kinda weird, they fit like a glove (a bit tight in some places, it doesn't hurt, not sure if they will stretch), very hard. Not sure yet what the actual use case is, a bit weird to ride, maybe a good approach shoe, especially for warm and dry climates. I hope they soften a bit but they still feel like they're stuck to my legs. The visual details are cool, the combination of a utilitarian hemp upper and a sharp, spooky skeleton outsole.

Pros
  • Provide good support for high impact events
Cons
  • Can be difficult to clean

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Comfortable in my opinion

Again, the shoe fits great and is very comfortable, but the durability of the upper left something to be desired. Shoes only started to tear after two or three weeks of wear.

Pros
  • Strong and durable materials used in construction
Cons
  • Might not fit

So closing my review

I really like the Altra and the big zero drop sockliner… This shoe had all the bells and whistles in terms of aesthetics, but to be honest it didn't fit the bill. There is too much room in the shoe to be comfortable or not feel like you lose footing in the shoe most of the time. I put in a few stakes to compensate for the spaciousness and that helped, but given the $60 stakes, is this really a good buy?

Pros
  • True to size for reliable sizing
Cons
  • May not provide adequate arch support

Great casual shoes

I like the looks and the style. The minimalism of this shoe is great. These are great casual shoes, but I think if you're looking for running shoes, Altra has other models that might be more comfortable. If you like running with little to no padding under your foot or on your sides, you might like this. It's comfortable, but I haven't tested them yet and I'm skeptical about my feet.

Pros
  • Ideal for walkers and runners who need a comfortable shoe for everyday use.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for people with wide feet.

Stylish and comfortable! the best in my rating

At least 5 people commented "nice shoes" the first day I wore them. These are great casual shoes for walking around town or a casual office environment. Fits like a glove and is my usual size (12). The top is super comfortable.

Pros
  • Provides good grip and balance on uneven surfaces.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those with low arches.

Best shoe buy.

Wahweap fits well (as expected) and is ready to use with no hack required. I bought these to replace a 5.10 approach shoe that has far outlived its good days. Although the fit was different (wider toe) than all my other shoes, I immediately liked them and now choose them for everyday wear. Altra shoes quickly became my favourites.

Pros
  • Great everyday shoes.
Cons
  • This shoe is not a zero drop shoe.

Looks good, needs a short break-in period

I like the looks. The shoe feels more durable than my other Altras, but it's tight at the top of the ankle. Softens after a few days. The foot shape is not as noticeable as the Solstice, One or Tourin, but better than the standard shoe.

Pros
  • Padded insole for extra comfort
Cons
  • May not be breathable enough for hot weather

Altra let me down: my review

This item doesn't offer the comfort you would normally expect and it's definitely not a shoe for working out or leisurely walking. Was hoping for more.

Pros
  • Lightweight and flexible for easy packing in a backpack
Cons
  • May lack ventilation

Couldn't manage my feet

I've been running barefoot/sneakers for almost 10 years. The soles are very thin, but that's not a problem if you're used to walking barefoot. The problem I have is that after a short 2 mile run my legs started to hurt where the tarp went under my ankle bones. I came home and put them on for a few days, thinking I just needed to break in my shoes (and feet). At the next race, the stabbing pain intensified from the edges of the tarp giving my legs to the point where I had to limp home.…

Pros
  • Easy to clean, maintain and maintain
Cons
  • May not be suitable for people with Achilles tendonitis

Great shoes! good for me

I love these shoes! They were a little tight at the back at first, but they parted well. I get compliments almost every time I wear them.

Pros
  • Can be worn for long periods with minimal fatigue.
Cons
  • Possibly missing padding in the heel area.

Great shoes...!!! good for me

I love these shoes so much that I bought a few extra pairs so I wouldn't run out of them when they wore out. These little guys are great for outdoor adventures and I get compliments all the time when I wear these shoes for running around town.

Pros
  • good shoes, if a bit stiff at first.
Cons
  • May cause blisters or discomfort

Revainrating 2 out of 5

much better

I bought them because they were selling at the regular (much more expensive) price and because I liked them. I also bought these because they are Altra and now I ONLY wear wide toe shoes. I read the reviews on these shoes and while they weren't great I decided to take a chance since they were on sale. These shoes are smaller than I had hoped. They're damn hard to put on because they're hemp shoes. So it doesn't stretch at all when you try to put it on. I almost tear my toes off trying to wrap…

Pros
  • Secure lace closure for a precise fit
Cons
  • May have hard soles that cause discomfort

Comfortable running shoes

This is the BEST sneaker period. I have owned ALTRAS for over 5 years and they have always been of the highest quality. Perfect fit every time.

Pros
  • Offers excellent traction on various terrains
Cons
  • Not suitable for trail running
