Review on Filter Coconut Granular Activated Charcoal by Anthony Grover

I see this works fine IF you have a cartridge designed for very fine charcoal, but for aquariums this material is too fine. I purposely bought mesh bags to use this and the grit was so fine it even slipped out of the bags. Good thing I also use cotton in the filter to keep them trapped until the water returns. So far as the filtration seems to be working well, the water went from Humus Tea color to crystal clear water in about 36 hours at a circulation of 1400 gallons per hour with a volume of about 400 gallons. granulated coconut charcoal which I used to use. Another note is that this charcoal looks quite shiny, I'm very used to coconut charcoal looking dull. I'll see how long the charcoal keeps filtering and report back in a few months. .Seller, you really need to specify the grit in the listing.
