I do not recommend this carburetor. I bought it on October 8th, recorded it on October 10th and installed it on October 11th. Yes, it fits the 2005 Honda CRF50 perfectly and fits great. After installation, the motorcycle ran normally for a total of 2 hours. The fuel then began to leak horribly, from the intake port and out the drain hose. I opened it up and found that the plastic tab on the float that holds the float pin is very very flimsy and bends very easily. This means it doesn't apply enough pressure to fully close and seal the float pin. I put a very small piece of JB Weld on the tongue to stiffen it, rode it on the road for about an hour and then the same problem. And this time the swimmer's tongue bent in a different spot. Today is November 17th and since it's been 30 days I can't return it. My son hasn't had it for more than 3 hours and it doesn't hold any fuel. Save yourself a lot of frustration and invest in a different brand of carbs. Just ordered another aftermarket brand today, hope it works but if not the OEM Honda carburetor is next as the original lasted 12 years with no problems. this lasted less than 37 days.
