Review on Borderlands 3 for PS4: Power-packed action on your Playstation 4! by Minju Gim ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I do not cease to rejoice at the purchase, a very good deal!

great game, better than the previous parts in everything. maybe the plot let us down a little, but the game does not go through in a couple of hours - there are a lot of tasks and locations. I've been waiting for a Steam release for a long time. I advise you to buy immediately deluxe. it will be cheaper

Pros
  • I'll start with graphics: + colorful and detailed + loading textures IMHO faster than in previous parts + BEAUTIFUL sights, no, they are really beautiful. Jacobs just blew my mind. IMHO a completely different feeling from shooting with aiming + the game has become a little closer to what the developers originally wanted to make of it: more realistic tin was added (perhaps you could see that the game almost resembled a horror shooter) - subjectively, it will no longer be possible to run it on a calculator, like the previous parts (on ultra it eats 5.4GB of my 1060 and only about 3GB of RAM, CPU (Ryzen 2600) and GPU usage did not exceed 20%) - subjectively, with my settings there are friezes when entering a new location changes and addition of mechanics: + teleportation across the map and locations from anywhere to anywhere + you can climb + the game is not one where you have to sit in the corner, BUT crouching can really help in a difficult situation + if you decide to farm the boss, then you DO NOT NEED TO RUN THE WHOLE MAP, you can just exit right after the boss room and find yourself in the same place when you enter (here I noticed some bug, when killing a kilovolt, the red chest is usually shown open, but 1 time it turned out to be closed again and it turned out to lure it again, if anyone knows how it should be - write) + skills now really give the characters their chips, you can freely change them even during the battle. And you can have 2 skills at once! + ammo is now collected automatically from a good radius, like if you hold down E in the previous parts + pumping inventory for money, because before they just gathered dust. maybe they will make more sense now. + it seemed to me that the guns in the machine guns became more generous in terms of rarity. BUT the internal design of the machines has become less convenient for me + for iridium you can now buy rare guns at a tangible price + map exploration is even more encouraged, now you can collect 3 entries on each map and get access to a stash with good loot
Cons
  • Too bad the DLC will only be released this summer. More pros than cons: * now your pet can pick you up, which makes the game much easier * there is a slide and even shields based on this mechanic. I have not noticed a special need for this mechanic yet * there are as many as 3 types of transport and it's great, you can customize your four as you want. but it doesn't give much gameplay. * all manufacturers give you a gun for every 100 enemies killed with their weapons. in terms of usefulness, they are so-so (they correspond to your level at the time of receiving the email notification), but a nice bonus. but how to pick up these guns is another matter. they are picked up by mail by pressing F4 * drop chance of legendary guns has become higher
