These are pretty good binoculars but only time will tell if they are really worth the price. The tripod and phone setup is pretty good for long range shots and even using the phone alone for group shots and very stable shots where my stupid hands would otherwise slip and take a bad picture of a stationary subject. Keep in mind that if you're using a phone attached to a monocle, the crosshair will round up depending on what you're focusing on. The included carrying case barely fits inside the binoculars and doesn't even have a strap for hanging accessories. Some. anything. even another suitably sized bag for a tripod and camera adapter will do this much better.
