Review on VViViD Black Carbon Gloss Realistic by Gilbert Pfaff

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Big disappointment

Vinyl is thick, durable and good for small items but forget it for larger items. The problem is that the vinyl is rolled up so tightly in the tube that it rolls back when taken out of the tube. It doesn't lie flat enough to separate from the backing. Trying to flip it creates wrinkles that even a hair dryer can't remove. Bubbles come out with no problem, but there are no fixes for small creases that spoil the end result. Small creases will remain on the vinyl forever and are most noticeable on the gloss. Don't be fooled by pictures on the internet. As with most complex projects, you need a solid plan or you're in for a nightmare. Use it only on small objects or have a few people unroll it very gently and clamp or flatten it onto a smooth surface overnight or longer. Much luck. And FYI, it doesn't really look like carbon fiber.
