Review on ๐Ÿ”ด Valterra D04-0113 EZ Coupler 10ft RV Extension Hose in Red - Enhanced for SEO by John Munajj

Worst hose I've ever had.

This is by far the worst sewer hose I have ever owned. I currently own a camper and caravan, use both frequently and have owned motorhomes for about 10 years. Pros: It feels durable, nice and thick. It will probably take some time. The connections are secure and seal well with no leaks. No problem, works fine. Cons: not 10 feet long. If you stretch it too far it will go maybe 10 feet but it will rebound and pull your link out of the hole and make a watery mess all over the camp or junkyard and confuse you greatly. If I hold up one end and let it hang under its own weight, it can be 4 or 5 feet long in its natural state. It's shorter than my wife's when I held it next to her (which didn't amuse her, don't try) and she's 5ft 4in tall. It won't go 10ft without a good tug of war, which given the hose contents isn't good for the loser (which you will be) Plus it kinda holds fluid to surprise you unpleasantly at the end. I don't know how to explain it but after the reset I shake it and flip it and let it sit for a while and shake it and twist and twist like crazy and then hold it to drain the last few issues. I always think it worked this time, but every time, no matter what I do or how long I do it, when I go to clean it up, a little jet of meanness comes out and lands right on my feet. I've never had a hose that did that, I could always give it a good shake and get the last few drops before sipping from every hose I had. I'm not sure where or how he hides that last piece there, but the clever engineers figured it out. No, no matter what I do, it gets me every time. After 4-5 times I got really smart and kept my feet clean but it was still a nasty mess. In the end I gave up, threw it away and bought another brand which I am now very happy with.

Pros
  • INCLUDES ROTATING CONNECTORS: Rotating bayonet connectors prevent kinking and ensure the hose is securely in place.
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model.
