Review on Inch Hand Sanding Mouse Block by Avery Sharma

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very good sharpening stone for 5 inch grinding wheels

This sharpening stone is made of a material that reminds me of those old relaxation balls, maybe a little thicker so it doesn't crush as easily, but it lies a little on your hand, making it comfortable to use for almost any type of loop. The grinding wheel rises on each side, which allows you to get through 90 degree corners quite well as you can use both the side and the underside if needed. The pressure on the surface is distributed fairly evenly, giving a good, smooth cut with almost any grit. The sanding block is of higher quality than I expected and I like it a lot better than the standard block. If you have a lot of 5 inch hook and loop sandpaper discs this is not a problem as you can simply buy a large pack of one grade of sandpaper for manual use as well as for an orbital machine. No complaints, and it holds the sheaves until you're done with them without slipping or tearing the hook material on the block.

Pros
  • sharpening stone
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
