Sandpaper doesn't stick but does the job

It really does what it's supposed to do, I was just hoping the velcro would stick to the item without the need for manpower and that's not it Case. but overall it does what it's supposed to.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Piggy Bank Price

Try it, it's worth it

Very good sharpening stone, I recommend it to everyone. You can relax your hand in it and gently squeeze instead of getting cramp in your palm when squeezing regular pads. A family member with arthritis also found it easier to use.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Repair

I wish I had bought the sanding block sooner

Although I'm still a woodworking student, I've accumulated a few tools that make the job easier. I would mark this sanding block as one of those tools. I don't have to struggle to attach, remove and repeat sandpaper with a block. I've had several others where you have to sand one end and then try to keep the sandpaper under tension, clip the other end; You were always free. This sanding block not only makes this task easy, but also reliable. If you're about to get one of these, go for it.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Communication with seller

2 different styles of sanding blocks

There are 2 different styles of these hand sanding blocks - one that quickly tapers to almost a point, and a slightly more rounded version with no point. Think of the shape of a triangle and a semicircle. The first one I bought a while ago was half round and I liked the ergonomics better for my hands. They're a little less comfortable for me in the triangle shape, but they both work the same way and hold 5" sandpaper (velcro style, not included). I keep 4 of these with different grit sandpaper…

A stunning unique grinding tool.

I'm a very keen carpenter so I end up having to do some sanding. It feels kind of tiring, but it's necessary. Most of the time I use my Power Sanders but sometimes I have to sand by hand and sometimes it's really nice, you can feel more of the wood. yes i am weird I checked out these grinders, it seemed like a great idea to me and after getting these they became a great idea. I have all kinds of 5 inch paper so this is enough. It feels like a foamy soft, it is comfortable in the hand. Not…

Very good sharpening stone for 5 inch grinding wheels

This sharpening stone is made of a material that reminds me of those old relaxation balls, maybe a little thicker so it doesn't crush as easily, but it lies a little on your hand, making it comfortable to use for almost any type of loop. The grinding wheel rises on each side, which allows you to get through 90 degree corners quite well as you can use both the side and the underside if needed. The pressure on the surface is distributed fairly evenly, giving a good, smooth cut with almost any…
