A piece is missing I think! Oh no.

God can someone help me? So I read the simple instructions and put them together. But after I clicked the T-bar in, I realized it could be rotated 360 degrees and it would come out! But the gray part with red clickers stays in. It's not safe at all and I'm wondering if I can fix it tonight or not. so sad. Does anyone know what I'm trying to say and how to help? Except to give that back.
