Norlan is the benchmark on which this China-made product is based. Since I don't have the original, I can't compare. This product does the job and appears to be exactly what they say it will be. Criticism, however, concerns the very thin glass. I don't know if the original is thin, but it definitely feels light and you have to be careful with it. The grammar in the well made tube they come in is wrong. For the amount saved, $5 or $10, I'd go with the original. Maybe they are heavier?
