Review on 💧 Hydronix HF2 10CLWH12 White Clear Body by David Dober

The photo shows my Hydronix HF2-10CLWH12 cartridges covered with foil to reduce algae growth. Plastic cup to catch spills. They were fine and didn't leak for the first 6 months. After the filter change, both started leaking where the clear canister meets the white body, so I ordered new o-rings. Unfortunately, the new o-rings are not as thick as the ones supplied, although they were listed as 1/8" thick and appear to be the correct specs. So I placed 2 more orders from 2 different sellers hoping they could be a little bigger. thicker but no luck The blue cartridge cases have a double o-ring and don't leak so I have to buy 2 more of them. Although my wooden case is closed and dark inside, algae grew in the clear cartridges while the blue ones didn't. At first it seemed like a good idea to see the status of the filters, but after a while you get an idea of how long each filter lasts. I would recommend double o-ring cartridge bodies for sealing.
