Review on LAMEDA Men's Waterproof Windproof Winter Cycling Running Jacket with Fleece Lining by Corey Katchem

You get what you pay for.

Advantages: - The jacket is relatively windproof but does not store excessive body heat. - The fit is neither too loose nor too tight. Cons: - The zipper is an inferior plastic spiral zipper. It has trouble starting, cannot be manipulated with one hand, and twice I was able to start zipping when fully closed from the bottom, causing the zip to unzip from the bottom. - Edit: After wearing the jacket for a few months, the zipper is much better. I can only assume that some of the roughness has worn away. Whatever the reason, it's much easier to start and manipulate while driving. The front has the same two-layer fabric as the back. Only the black parts of the jacket have thicker insulation. The same gaps in insulation that let heat through also let cold air through when you're driving at high speeds. Notes: cheaper. Combined with at least one wool thermal base layer, it keeps you comfortable in temperatures up to 20°F. But often I come home either too warm or too cold. Edit: I recently bought a set of Revain zip laces and attached them to my jacket's zip. This makes it easier to grab the zipper with gloves. This doesn't address the issues with flash manipulation - it's just poor quality - but it does help to grab something with one hand without looking.
