UPDATE 02/16/20: I bought a second pair because my first pair died after a little over two years. What I said earlier still stands in terms of EQ favors, but something has changed in the way they were made since I first bought them and now. They have MUCH more bass with the exact same EQ as my first pair and the cable is completely different. It used to be a shiny black cable with a straight connector. Now it's a matte, pseudo-soft material with a right-angle port. Cloth covers also no longer affect the audio signature. Aside from that rectangular plug, they're better than before and I still recommend buying them. You are free to ignore my first review, but I'll leave it in case you want to read it. ================= I'll say right away if you have small ears, don't worry. These will be uncomfortable. You are tall. Other than that, the sound they produce is reasonably clear, if a bit muffled in the mids. They definitely lack bass unless you tweak your own EQ, but once that's done they're good enough for most people. Likewise. Do not forget to leave the fabric covers. Even with an equalizer, the lowest frequencies fly out the window without them and the highs get very harsh. The fabric sleeves mentioned also have a habit of coming loose if you overfit the earbuds and can be tricky to put back on, but as long as you leave them alone they should be fine. their weight and work fine for anything thrown at them as long as you don't expect your brains to be blown off.
