UPDATE 02/16/20: I bought a second pair because my first pair died after a little over two years. What I said earlier still stands in terms of EQ favors, but something has changed in the way they were made since I first bought them and now. I use these with a Sandisk Clip Jam MP3 player which has a 5 band equalizer (EQ) for my daily fitness workout. The Edifier P185 headphones have an impressive sound pressure level (SPL) of 112 dB.
