I bought it on March 6, 2019 and today is May 5, 2019. I've waited until now to write this review for one reason, Pot. Every rice cooker I've ever bought has always scratched the pot one way or another, even though they never had metal in them. I thought it was because I bought cheap ones. Well in less than 2 months this much more expensive rice cooker has done something different, the protective coating on the pot actually bubbles up and disappears. Let me tell you why this is a problem. I use it once every 3 days to make rice for cooking, once done it is then poured into my food prep containers. Switched off, allowed to cool, then immediately hand washed, dried with a paper towel and put back in, and I'm talking anything that needs cleaning. To make it happen, it's just wrong and messed up. If I wanted a cheap rice cooker, I would buy an American one. I'm embarrassed to say this because it's the best rice I've ever eaten, but quality is everything when it comes to a product like this. But if you are looking for a durable one, maybe buy a Japanese rice cooker, which I wanted to buy because I love Korea.
