Review on 🔳 Milton 760VC-20 ColorFit HighFlowPRO Plugs, V-style Purple, 1/4 Inch NPT Male, Box of 20 by Sean Moran

I am not a professional mechanic who makes a living with a wrench and my air compressor is a 21 gallon, 2.5 hp, 125 psi central air compressor. Years. I use my air tools primarily for routine maintenance on my cars and gardening equipment, and my son and his friends use them on their cars. With the exception of the Matco MT1712 1/2 Impact Gun, all my other air tools, fittings and air hoses are from Harbor Freights Central Pneumatic. That being said, I've never been impressed with the performance of my air tools, but I really wasn't expecting much since I bought them from HF. I recently needed a new air hose and also decided to replace the hose fittings. I googled what the best hoses and fittings were and kept finding Milton V-style fittings in my searches. In addition to purchasing the Milton HIGHFLOWPRO S-314VKIT with couplers and fittings, I bought these because I needed additional male fittings for other air tools and accessories. I've read reviews on the durability as they are made from anodized aluminum and wasn't overly concerned as I don't really over stress hoses or fittings. After installing them with teflon tape I was able to use a pneumatic chisel and pneumatic hammer on the project. I can immediately say that the performance has become much better. The air rebounded badly and the clutch and fittings worked well. There was no discernible damage or flaws in fit or finish. When using my percussion gun when attempting to remove rusted bolts I have seen a significant improvement in performance. These fittings have definitely improved performance. I regularly lubricate the inside of my bludgeoning weapon and also use the built in oiler but have never been entirely happy with it. I've actually thought about upgrading my percussion pistol for better performance. The only downside to these fittings is that you use a lot more air and your compressor will turn on more often. I also bought a steel version of these fittings (Milton S-217) and they work just as well. If you're worried about the durability of anodized aluminum, even if it's not purple, this is your best alternative. Milton V-style couplers are backwards compatible with other fittings, but you won't get the increased airflow that you get if you have all V-style fittings and couplers. DO NOT connect V terminals to non-V terminals. I also use Marvel Mystery Oil to lubricate all of my air tools and Royal Purple Synthetic Compressor Oil for my air compressor.
