1) The description clearly says: 2x digital zoom (3.5-7x optical zoom). I'll tell you - absolutely NO variable optical zoom. There is only FIXED zoom. I wrote to support about this. I was told that "digital zoom" is "optical zoom" and I can enlarge images by 2x. That's an absurd answer. 3.5-7 suggests a range and there is a ZERO range 2) My focus knob. something was leaking, maybe oil? I suppose there is some lube to keep the focus knob turning smoothly. 'Cause mine spins like a nut very rude. I emailed customer support - their response - it gets smoother as I break it down over time. Truth? 3) Customer Support. I get an email every 24 hours that doesn't answer my questions or concerns. So I email them again asking for clarification and it takes another 24 hours for me to reply. It's just not acceptable. They may have a US address, but it doesn't look like US customer service as it might suggest. It's slow, the answers are meaningless, and it frustrates me. 4) The quality is a joke. Can of course see it at night. Can you spot any details? NO. I can't read license plates, I can't really tell. only that there are trees in the background or maybe a deer. Monitoring? Good luck - there is absolutely NOTHING that could be useful. 5) Summary - The binoculars are poor (childish quality at best). Zoom missing. toy quality. Even buttons. You have to click them multiple times for this to work. Want to digitally zoom in or out - it's like 3 or 4 clicks when it should be one click. Like an 80's toy that doesn't work that well. Needless to say I will be returning it. I WANTED TO LOVE IT. Your marketing is impressive but the product is not that good. I will keep looking for the best product that does what it promises because it doesn't.
